This looks like a 'real' Republican tax plan! I remember how business roared back with even a modest tax cut, under Reagan. Do you have anything in there to cut taxes on elderly retirees? Or, perhaps, with the reduction in their income, it will be automatic. Would be great to attract more retirees to our state.
Thank you for writing it in English, as well. :)

Johnnie...I'll post the list of exemptions we propose keeping and those we propose doing away with. Our proposal keeps the $300 cap on vehicles. There was much debate over that and at one time it looked like we would propose moving the cap to $1200 and using the extra dollars to lower the overall rate.

This reform bill is great. You have my complete support. Relative to sales tax exemptions, what are the ones that remain besides the ones you listed? Also, does the $300 cap remain on cars, boats, and airplanes? Look foward to a response. Thank you.

p.s. I have responded to 2 of your previous emails and have not received any response as promised.

Dan thanks for the updates. Where can I get a list of the two-thirds sales tax items that removed from the exemptions?

Dan,

Just got around to reading your recent update. Your constituents are fortunate to have you keep them informed of what's going on and of your thoughts and decision making. Glad you're in Columbia and always enjoy working together.
